AVETRA's conferences are an annual gathering of researchers, VET practitioners and leaders, education policymakers and representatives from industry, unions and employers. It is an opportunity to showcase scholarly and applied research of, for and from within vocational education. Due to the pandemic, the 2020 conference had to be postponed. Abstracts and papers accepted for the 2020 conference are guaranteed a place in the 2021 conference program.
Abstract submissions should address the five broad themes below:

1. VET road to recovery
2. Practice and Pedagogy
3. Equity and Diversity
4. Research
5. Where VET fits
