If teachers/educators are interested in Citizenship Education and minority ethnic pupils, they may find the course particularly useful. It provides a unique opportunity to meet teachers / educationalists from a number of European countries to share experiences and discuss some of the issues facing teachers engaged in this area of education. The course providerspropose a belief that the concept of ´European Citizenship` may offer opportunities for ´identity` to many groups rather than one which may be tied more closely to ´nationality`. In addition there is, of course, anopportunity to explore these issues within the context of the host country, Estonia, and a full cultural and social programme is provided. - Funding details and application forms are available from your NationalAgency. Please, note that the last application date is March 01st, 2003.It is important to note that in order to promote the European dimension more widely, each country funds a limited number of participants for course fees, accomodation and travel up to their national limit.
