The theme of the Conference, Literacy and Diversity, refers to literacy as an expression of diversity, the expression of diversity in literacy, the diversity of cultures, languages, theories, methods and practices which thrive in the fieldÂ… It is also a reference to the European Union motto : United in diversity. The working languages of the Conference are English and French. Presentations in any European language are welcome. Non-English speaking presenters may provide to their audience an English version of their handout or an English Powerpoint to facilitate communication.
