The theme of the conference is: The Ecology of Human Growth and Sustainable Societal Development: Contributions from Educational Research and Innovations. The Theme invites a broad base Multidisciplinary Knowledge Management Perspectives of education cutting across all major aspects of human knowledge.

APERA 2010 is a collaborative effort by the leading international educational research associations. The organizers are APERA, Malaysian Educational Research Association (MERA), the Educational Research Association of Singapore [ERAS], the World Educational Research Association [WERA], Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Teacher Education Institutes (IPG), and other Malaysian universities. Some of the other goodwill collaborators are the European Educational Research Association, American Educational Research Association, and Australian Educational Research Association. The APERA 2010 is supported by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia.
