ESOF – Euroscience Open Forum – is the biennial pan-European meeting dedicated to scientific research and innovation. ESOF presents and discusses the frontiers of scientific and technological research in Europe, contributes to the development of a European Scientific Identity together with bridging the gap between science and society and stimulates policies to support scientific research. ESOF’s Scientific Programme is multidisciplinary and is complemented by three other programmes. These are the Career Programme which is geared specifically towards young European researchers, the Science to Business Programme which addresses in particular business people and potential entrepreneurs and the Science in the City Programme which hosts events within the city in order to bring scientific culture to the general public.
