This Index allows to compare well-being across countries, based on 11 topics the OECD has identified as essential, in the areas of material living conditions and quality of life (2021).

The dossier offers data on migration and integration issues in OECD countries (2020).

While the U.S. spends 0.2 percent of G.D.P. on early childhood education (children 2 and under), the other wealthy countries in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development spend an average of 0.7 percent  on toddlers, mainly through heavily subsidized child care (OECD 2021).
