This website provides current information on the latest developments in educational reform.- The Center for Education Reform helps people bring fundamental reforms to their schools. The Center works throughout the nation with educators, parents and others who care about promoting educational excellence in America's schools. Founded in 1993, the Center is a results-oriented advocacy group, which is independent, non-partisan and not-for-profit. Serving as a clearinghouse for information on innovative reforms in education, the Center: provides guidance to communities striving to improve their local schools; promotes reforms to increase accountability, assessment and access; advocates academic standards as the cornerstone of effective education; identifies cumbersome regulation and barriers to restoring local control over education; and encourages greater educational opportunities and choices for teachers and parents.
