Nordic Comparative and International Education Society (NOCIES) - english information

"NOCIES is a non-profit organisation composed of volunteer scholars, researchers and practitioners in all Nordic countries and Arctic region. Its aim is to encourage the growth of comparative and international knowledge [about education] by:
* promoting and improving learning through comparative knowledge;
* stimulating research and practice in and across the field;
* facilitating publication and distribution of comparative and international studies;
* organising events and meetings for members and the public.
NOCIES publishes the Open Access "Nordic Journal of Comparative and International Education" (NJCIE), organises several thematic events each year, and provides a list of international conferences in the field of comparative and international education.
