"Countryside Classroom helps teachers to find resources, places to visit and school support relating to the themes of food, farming and the natural environment. Our site contains a range of quality assured educational content from hundreds of contributors. Countryside Classroom is a managed by a partnership of organisations that represent the very best in food, farming and environment education." Partners include the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom (CLOtC), the National Trust (a British organisation for cultural and natural heritage conservation), Natural England (a British agency for nature conservation advice and planning), and the Royal Horticultural Society. The resources offered can be filtered by age, subject, or topic, among other criteria. In addition to the resources, there is also a database of recommended locations for extracurricular learning and a database of contact persons/experts on specific topics.
