Europe
Founded in 2012 by European Schoolnet, the Future Classroom Lab (FCL) is both a physical location in Brussels and the online platform linked here. Online, you can take a virtual tour of this experimental learning environment lab, which aims to "rethink the role of pedagogy, technology, and design in the classroom. In six learning zones, visitors can explore the essential elements of 21st-century learning: the skills and roles of students and teachers, learning styles, the design of learning environments, current and future technologies, and societal trends influencing education." The online platform also hosts EU-funded projects on innovative learning environments, including project results and various resources such as webinars, guidelines, and blogs. Furthermore, it facilitates exchange and networking among the various stakeholders interested in this topic at the EU level.
