According to their own statement, the University Union (UDU) is the largest student association in Italy. Founded in 1994, it is represented in 35 university cities. The UDU has elected representatives in the Italian CNSU (National Council of University Students) and the CUN (National University Council). As a left-wing association, the UDU also works with the "Rete degli studenti medi" and the CGIL (the largest Italian trade union federation). At the European level, the UDU represents Italy within the ESU (European Students' Union). The website offers information and news about the UDU, its work and goals.
