Higher education institutions in Georgia are subdivided into three types: universities are implementing the educational programmes of all three cycles of higher education and scientific research, teaching universities implement the second cycle, i.e. master’s educational programmes, while colleges only implement the first cycle of academic higher education programmes. The website lists all authorised institutions of the three types.
