The Institute for Research in Education IRICE was founded in 1977 and is under the control of the Argentinian "National Council for Scientific and Technical Research" CONICET as well as of the University of Rosario (UNR). The website provides very ample information on the research done at the institute which comprises, among others, the research on teaching, the functioning of educational institutions, the cognitive development f children, sociocognitive processes of learning, virtual learning and research environments, or research in history of education or educational policy. The institute's journal "Revista IRICE" has been accessible online since its first issue in 1990 (digitized and later digital) in Open Access / fulltext articles (for English abstracts switch to English in the menu bar on the right under "idioma").
