The "National Commission for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Universities" (CONEAU) recrutes researchers in education and experts from universities in the whole of Argentina to act as evaluators and reviewers. CONEAU's work also includes quality assurance of research and teaching. The evaluation of more than 40 universities is documented in freely accessible publications (in Spanish) on the CONEAU website (for each university there is a respective publication). Moreover, you can find two fulltext publications on quality in higher education "Calidad en la Educación Superior” - 2015) and on the Argentinian higher education system ("La CONEAU y el Sistema Universitario Argentino" 2011) in English and Spanish. The website also provides further information on evaluation and accreditation of universities in Argentina. The commission is subordinate to the Argentinian Ministry of Education.
