Published in 2012, the ASEAN Curriculum Sourcebook (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) is based on a survey conducted 2008-2010 on the curricula of the ASEAN member states. It is meant to bring closer the educational goals of ASEAN states and provides concrete suggestions for elements of a common curriculum which proclaims the values and norms of the ASEAN community. The sourcebook's chapters are divided into the following five themes: Knowing ASEAN, Valuing Identity and Diversity, Connecting Global and Local, Promoting Equity and Justice, and Working Together for a Sustainable Future. The sourcebook is meant to be a toolkit for teachers. It was supported financially by USAID.
