The web-site of the Costa Rican Ministry of Public Education (MEP) are rather extensive and well designed. The homepage is leading to full text information about education policy, education statistics, instructional information, information for children, youth and families (e. g. leisure activities and sports) and information for teachers (e.g. laws, educational administration, information sources). Various link lists are offered which give access to educational institutions, information resources and also foreign education ministries. Other offers are a search function in the data base of the documentation centre and diverse discussion forums. There is a separate link for innovative programs.
