The Österreichische Bundesverband Legasthenie (Federal Austrian Association for Dyslexia, founded 1991) aims to inform the general public about dyslexia. It supports and advises teachers, pedagogues and parents of dyslexic children as well as dyslexic people themselves. It also keeps contact with authorities in order to improve the situation of dyslexic children from the official side. A part of that are demands to take organizational and legislative action as well as to improve teacher training.
