Data without Boundaries (DwB) - english information
Europe
The Data without Boundaries – DwB – project exists to support equal and easy access to official microdata for the European Research Area, within a structured framework where responsibilities and liability are equally shared. DwB also takes part in the discussion about metadata standards (SDMX/DDI) with the aim of building a single point of access for official microdata. Under Data without Boundaries, academic researchers resident within the European Union member states (or associated countries) or the European Free Trade Association are invited to apply for access to highly detailed microdata from Research Data Centres (RDC) in the UK, Germany, Netherlands and France.
