The Österreichische Gesellschaft für Sprachheilpädagogik (ÖGS) is a non-profit society that fosters remedial language education in theory and practice in Austria (through research and cooperation for the purpose of specialized exchange, of information and further education). The ÖGS publishes the specialist journal "mitSPRACHE" (The German title is ambiguous and means "with language" as well as "share in decisions"). Furthermore, ÖGS offers lectures, seminars and further training courses and cooperates with national and international societies with common interest.
