The National University of Equatorial Guinea (Universidad Nacional de Guinea Ecuatorial in Spanish), also known as UNGE, is the main university in Equatorial Guinea. It was founded in 1995. The main campus is located in Malabo. The school of Medicine is located in Bata. UNGE is composed of 6 main schools ("Escuelas Universitarias"): Agriculture School ("Escuela de Estudios Agropecuarios") Fishing School ("Escuela de Pesca y Forestal") Education School ("Escuela del Profesorado") Medicine School ("Escuela de Sanidad") Business School ("Escuela de Administración") Engineering School ("Escuela de Ingeniería") It also has a Social Sciences School ("Facultad de Letras y Ciencias Sociales"), where Law, Political Science, Languages, and Communications are taught.
