Guatemala

The Ministry of Culture and Sports (MCD) strengthens and fosters the Guatemalan identity and the culture of peace in the frame of cultural diversity and the promotion of interculturality through the protection, support and the dissemination of values and cultural manifestations of the peoples which build the Guatemalan state. Through a solid institutionality and mechanisms of decentralisation and deconcentration, the MCD contributes to the improvement of the quality of life in Guatemala.
