Costa Rica

The Association of Teachers of Secondary Education (APSE) of Costa Rica has the objective to improve the professional conditions of its members with regard to the scientific, legal and social norms which determine the teaching profession. Also, it defends the labour laws of its members as well as their social and economical interests and promotes the development of a solidly united conscience of the members which shall expand to all professions of the country. Furthermore, APSE contributes to the improvement of the Costa Rican education system by supervising the socio-economical transformation process of the country and it works for the cultural and educative reconditioning of Costa Rica.
