The report on higher education in Tunisia by the EU's higher education programme TEMPUS initially provides a detailed description of the Tunisian higher education system. In further chapters it examines current challenges, such as the Bologna process, and participation in EU programs. TEMPUS is the European Union’s programme which supports the modernisation of higher education in the Partner Countries of Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Western Balkans and the Mediterranean region, mainly through university cooperation projects.
