Cuba

The Virtual Library of Sciences in Cuba constitutes one of the principal services of the Red Cubana de la Ciencia. Its task is to facilitate the access and the management of relevant, disposable information and knowledge of the country, especially that which is related to science, technology and innovation. The management of the contents is under the responsibility of the National Library for Science and Technology (BNCT) and the informatics plat form CITMATEL. The virtual library uses programs and software which was especially designed for the creation and distribution of digital document compilations.
