Die Republik Kongo hat sich in Form des Committees for the Promotion of Information Technologies in Congo (COPTIC) zum Ziel gesetzt, Informationstechnologien im Bildungsbereich stärker einzusetzen. Hierfür muss vor allem die notwendige Infrastruktur geschaffen werden. In diesem Bericht wird unter Erwähnung und Berücksichtigung der wichtigsten politischen Richtlinien und anderer Einflussfaktoren die Möglichkeit einer besseren Implementierung von Informationstechnologien im Kongo erörtert, nicht ohne auch auf das dortige Bildungssystem und das kongolesische Landesprofil einzugehen.
