Peru

The Regional Directorate of Education of the region Ancash was founded in 2003. As specialized organ of the regional government, it is responsible for the education service in its region. It maintains technical-normative relations with the ministry of education. The task of the directorate is the promotion of education, culture, sports, leisure, science and technology. It assures the application of integral programs in its juridical radius, which are based on quality and equality. In addition, it conducts, together with the local unities of educational management, the coordination of this radius and fosters the participation of the different social actors.
