Rwanda
The Inspectorate General of Education (IGE) was created to work out the standards of education and to control the implementation of the standards of education for the improvement of the quality of education to enable Rwandese to compete on the world market. The improvement is ensured at different levels (nursery, primary, secondary, vocational training, specialized education, centers of literacy). IGE disseminates education policy and laws governing education and inspects how organs in districts and sectors conduct inspection of education, to provide them with advice, training as well as giving the educational books and documents to be used in inspection; also, it provides other institutions in charge of education with advice on the way of finding solutions to problems that arise in education.
