The interuniversitary council CIUF is the official platform for the fine tuning between the academic, student, political, economic and administrative fields. Its 39 members focus on higher education. The council aims to the promotion, maintaining and organization of the cooperation between the single participants of the higher education system of Belgium, esp. institutes, researchers and students. At the same time, the CIUF functions as representative for the members’ interests in the national or international context. The homepage offers details of the organization including the single commissions and some power point presentations referring to current topics like the Bologne process, the Belgian education system, the research or the international policy of the universities of the Communauté française. Besides, the site contains information about higher education focussing on the conditions for study like funding, registration or the choice of subjects.
