Education System Support Programme - english information
Cameroon
The Education System Support Programme was officially launched on 7 December 2006 by the Secretary-General of the Prime Minister’s office who equally installed the management organs of the project. The ministries concerned were the Ministry of Basic Education, the Ministry of Secondary Education and the Ministry of Higher Education. The programme's objectives were the increase of the efficiency and equity in primary and secondary education with special emphasis on the priority Education Zones (ZEP) and the Improvement of the relevance of secondary and higher education in relation to the needs of the economy.
