The objectives of the African and Malagasy Council for Higher Education (CAMES) are the promotion of the understanding and the solidarity of the member countries, the establishment of a permanent cultural and scientific cooperation between the member countries, to collect and distribute all the university and research documents; statistics, exam information, directories, annals, rankings, job offers and search lists etc. Furthermore, CAMES wants to prepare draft conventions between the countries related to higher education and research and to contribute to their implementation as well as to foster the understanding to be able to coordinate the higher education systems and researc to harmonize the levels of recruitment and of the programs. Moreover, it wants to foster the cooperation between the different institutions as well as the exchange of information.
