New Zealand Association for Research in Education (NZARE)
New Zealand
The New Zealand Association for Research in Education (NZARE), as a national organisation, connects those interested in education research, tertiary institutions, schools and early childhood centres, government agencies such as the Ministry of Education, and the New Zealand Council for Research in Education. Its membership consists of individuals and organisations with an interest in educational research. Linked to other associations, it intends to establish and strengthen a network with other international research organisations for the common goal of promoting excellence in education research. Following these principles, NZARE contributes to the current state of research and the exchange of educational views by organising conferences and seminars involving new research levels and academic and professional debates. Additionally NZARE has established caucuses to promote and serve the interests of Maori, Pasifika and students in education research.
