Morocco
Since 2002, the Moroccan section of Amnesty International has been developing a human rights promotion program called REAP (Rights Education Action Program) in partnership with the Norwegian section of AI. Following the success of the REAP and the section's influence over the Moroccan Government, the National Ministry of Education accepted to draw up an agreement in terms of human rights. The agreement has been signed up on March 8th 2004 between the National Ministry of Education and the human rights NGOs such as Amnesty International Moroccan Section, OMDH (Moroccan Organization of Human Rights), AMDH (Moroccan Association of Human Rights). It offers the opportunity to organize many activities about the human rights within schools, youth houses, campus, and other educational establishments. Today (february 2011), the Moroccan section has more than 40 clubs of human rights established in the biggest Moroccan cities.
