The School Social Work Association of America (SSWAA) was founded in 1994. SSWAA is the only national organization solely dedicated to advancing the profession of School Social Work. The School Social Work Association of America is dedicated to promoting the profession of school social work and the professional development of school social workers in order to enhance the educational experience of students and their families.
