Maltese Association of Science Educators [MASE] - english information

MASE Mission Statement:“To stimulate and improve the teaching of Science in Malta, to coordinate the activities of its members, and to disseminate information related to Science teaching”. To enhance professional development and provide networking forums for Science educators, MASE intends to organise regular meeting during which lectures, presentations, demonstrations and good practice covering all the Science areas, the different grades and teaching foci will be presented. MASE also intends to encourage and expose good practice of both teachers and students who excel in the area of Science. MASE also intends to keep its members and the general public informed about national issues and trends in Science education. The association will develop position statements on issues such as teacher preparation, laboratory science, laboratory safety, primary Science education and other related items. The Maltese Association of Science Educators (MASE) was set up in March 2006.
