SIETAR Europa (The International Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research) is an interdisciplinary, professional service organisation whose purpose is to implement and promote cooperative interaction among peoples of diverse cultures, races and ethnic groups. The objective of SIETAR Europa is to encourage the development and application of knowledge, values, and skills which enable effective intercultural, inter-racial and interethnic actions at individual, group, organisation and community levels. SIETAR holds NGO status at the United Nations and is recognized by the Council of Europe. It also serves as a forum for exchange among national SIETAR organizations and supports the establishment and development of new national SIETAR organizations.
