The Netherlands Association of Universities of Applied Sciences (HBO-raad) brings together all 39 government-funded Universities of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. Together they have over 38,000 employees and over 400,000 students. The HBO-raad focuses on strengthening the social position of Universities of Applied Sciences. To this end it maintains contacts with a broad range of people and organisations.
