Austria

The ´Bundesinstitut für Bildungsforschung, Innovation und Entwicklung des österreischischen Schulwesens´ (Federal institute for education research, innovation and development of the Austrian school system) was commissioned by the federal ministry of education to draw up a pilot version for a national education report. The now published report includes in its first volume data and indicators of the Austrian school system. In the second volume the authors discuss current political topics of the Austrian school system.
