France
"Since its first edition in 1991, the State of Education reports on key indicators to analyse [the French] education system and assess the impact of policies implemented. Structured around the means used, conditions of schooling and pupil and student results, the publication highlights main developments and provides international comparisons." The issues 2007, 2008, 2010-2014, and 2020 are available in English. Unfortunately, the website is confusing as it lists single chapters as well as the whole report. Moreover, the year of publication is hidden behind "more information". You can find reports back to the 90ies. [Abstract: Site editor’s information supplemented by editors of Education Worldwide]
