Founded in 1975, the IAEA has institutional and individual members in more than 50 countries worldwide. It aims at supporting the development and application of educational assessment techniques to improve the quality of education. One of its members, among others, is the Association for Educational Assessment Europe (AEA Europe). The IAEA organises annual conferences and publishes the proceedings online.
