The Danish Adult Education Association is an organisation which promotes nonformal adult education through collaboration, information and development. DAEA represents 32 member organisations. Adult education in Denmark consists of a broad variety of programmes and institutions, both in the formal and in informal sector. Most of them are partly financed by the state or the municipalities and partly by participants.
