The Australian Council for Education through Technology (ACET) is a council of Australian affiliated technology organisations. It exists to promote and improve the quality of technology education provided in Australia. ACET is the National Professional Association for technology educators representing members from all sectors of education including pre-school, primary schools, secondary schools, senior colleges, and the tertiary education sector through universities and TAFE. It also encourages membership from industry. It represents all educators with an interest in technology education. Membership is drawn from the existing disciplines of industrial arts, manual arts, computing, design, home economics, textiles, media, technical studies and agriculture.
