On the homepage the mission of the STAR network has been defined: It provides encouragement, financial support and technical assistance to locally-led initiatives that advance women's economic and political leadership in the post-Yugoslav region. It is precisely explained on the website by means of which activities, measures, programmes, partnerships and resources the aims are to be implemented in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedoonia, Montenegro, and Serbia.
