The Institute for Information on Education is subordinated to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. It focuses mainly on carrying out statistical surveys and provides statistical data to decision-making authorities, to professionals and the general public. IIE works with statistical files concerning the Czech education system. Collecting, processing, evaluating and providing comparable statistical data and information are done on an international basis and as part of OECD activities. The homepage offers information on national projects, international activities and on three national institutions relevant to education.
