The Canadian Association of Learned Journals (CALJ) was organized in 1990 to ensure the well-being of learned journals in Canada as important disseminators of scholarly work. Representing over one hundred and forty Canadian journals, CALJ concentrates its efforts in three main areas, Education, Promotion, Lobbying. The website is funded in part by Canada's Schoolnet. It provides information on the CALJ, its member journals and several non-member journals and access to related links, a moderated discussion group and the CALJ- newsletter (full text articles).
