The research network has been funded by the SSHRC (Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council) to study informal learning and its relation to formal and continuing education throughout the life course. The NALL web Site provides information on the project and its constituting institutions and organizations, project summaries, papers and resources. A "survey of informal learning", a bibliography and links to "networks in education" are included.
