Ireland
Early Childhood Ireland (ECI) was created in 2012 by merging two organisations: the Irish Preschool Play Association (IPPA) and the National Children’s Nurseries Associations (NCNA). This made ECI the largest membership organisation in the sector of early childhood education. Membership extends not only to persons working in this sector, but also to parents, toddlers, students, organisations or individuals interested in this sector. Accordingly, the website offers a wide range of information, events, publications, etc. for educators as well as for parents, children, students and others. Some content is members-only, some is freely accessible. [Abstract: editors of Education Worldwide]
