One of the Department's main areas is the development and implementation of policy in relation to equal treatment generally, anti- racism, disability equality, human rights and childcare. E.g. the Equal Opportunities Childcare programme 2000-2006 offers grant assistance for the development of childcare services. The website features information on legislation, a media center, information on publications and activities.
