The council of universities for applied sciences (FHR) is an authority responsible for quality assurance in the Austrian university of applied sciences-sector (UAS-sector). The main tasks of the FHR are the accreditation and evaluation of courses of study. Under the heading ' quality assurance UAS-sector' ('Qualitätssicherung FH-Sektor') this site report on evaluation results and internationalisation efforts of Austrian Universities of Applied Sciences. In the column 'FH- Studium' ( UAS studies) information is provided about the types and supply of courses, the organisation of studies, academic degrees, accreditation of foreign degrees, access conditions for foreign students, lecturers, PhD programmes and seminars of further education. An extra service presents UAS courses of studies in different sets: sorted by states, particular universities, faculties, forms of organization, types of study and academic degrees.
