The forum is an extra-university institution and information centre sustained by scientists from different branches of study (political science, chronicle, social science and economics) and specialists in didactics. Within the series "Informationen zur Politischen Bildung" ( information in political education), published by the forum, topical books are edited in cooperation with teachers and specialists in didactics with highly readable basic texts, illustrative and source materials and suggestions for implementation in classes. The website provides a survey of already published topical books including accessible tables of content. Under the heading "Projektbörse" (project fair) there are thematically classified lesson modules already edited for school praxis. A further link adverts a number of events concerning political education.
