Red Académica Peruana (RAAP) is an initiative of different private and public institutions. Its objective is to establish a scientific network in Peru to support investigation and education as well as academic interchange und cooperation. The project is part of a mayor program, Cooperación Latino Americana de Redes Avanzadas (Clara), which aims to build national research and education networks with intra-regional connectivity in Latin America. At the moment 14 countries form part of the project. The homepage provides information about the programs, intended implementations and cooperating partners as well as links to organisations and projects involved.
